The Urban Rugby Project aims to promote the sport amongst inner city teenagers and so the graphics need to appeal to them.
I was briefed to go with a grafitti theme and my first attempts were along stencil banksy-type lines (see the bottom of the page) before changing direction for an urban grafitti-tag look.
I enjoyed using colours which deliberately clash and didn't realise before quite how many grafitti fonts there are out there on the web.
